Violating Bell's inequality beyond Cirel'son's bound.

چکیده
Cirel'son inequality states that the absolute value of the combination of quantum correlations appearing in the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequality is bound by 2 square root of (2). It is shown that the correlations of two qubits belonging to a three-qubit system can violate the CHSH inequality beyond 2 square root of (2). Such a violation is not in conflict with Cirel'son's inequality because it is based on postselected systems. The maximum allowed violation of the CHSH inequality, 4, can be achieved using a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state.

Quantum-like Tests for Contextual Querying
Tests are essential in Information Retrieval (IR), in order to evaluate the effectiveness of a query. Tests intended to exhibit the sense of words in context were undertaken and linked with Quantum Mechanics (QM). Poll tests were undertaken on heterogeneous media such as music and polysemy in foreign languages. Interference effects are shown in the results. Bell inequality was used leading to a...
متن کاملMonogamy of nonlocal quantum correlations
We describe a new technique for obtaining Tsirelson bounds, or upper bounds on the quantum value of a Bell inequality. Since quantum correlations do not allow signaling, we obtain a Tsirelson bound by maximizing over all no-signaling probability distributions. This maximization can be cast as a linear program. In a setting where three parties, A, B, and C, share an entangled quantum state of ar...

متن کاملDeletion, Bell's inequality, teleportation
In this letter we analyze the efficacy of the entangled output of Pati-Braunstein deletion machine [3] as a teleportation channel. We analyze the possibility of it violating the Bell’s inequality. Interestingly we find that for all values of α the state does not violate the Bell’s inequality but when used as a teleportation channel can give a fidelity higher than the classical optimum (i.e 2 3 ).
متن کاملBell inequality, Bell states and maximally entangled states for n qubits
First, we present a Bell-type inequality for n qubits, assuming that m out of the n qubits are independent. Quantum mechanics violates this inequality by a ratio that increases exponentially with m. Hence an experiment on n qubits violating this inequality sets a lower bound on the number m of entangled qubits. Next, we propose a definition of maximally entangled states of n qubits. For this pu...
